CAŁKOWITA OBECNOŚĆ - WARSZTAT IMPROWIZACJI W KONTAKCIE

The complete, uttermost presence
Throughout the years I got exposure for various performing contexts, from completely fixed contemporary choreographies to fully improvised pieces leaving all the structure and presets behind. This journey, which started as a pure body exploration proven quickly to be the quest for a complete presence. Body , if properly prepared, can find the right solution for any situation, unexpected and unplanned, smooth or urgent, easy or violent. The fighter does not plan for the attack combination and yet every movement needs to be precise and accurate. And surely the fighter must not plan the defense. At the right time, the right answer will come. Not as a fully conscious decision, but rather by the instinct, enhanced or awaken by training and the body memory of past experiences. The same way the dancer move can be become limitless - like a flight in a dream.
On this workshop, I plan to lead you through the exploration of what is needed to get to this borderless state when the body makes the decisions far beyond what you could plan or prepare upfront. We will work on the principles how to reach safely the ground and then launch high, high above. We will learn how to grow the dance to be spatial and full. We will get off-balance, up-side-down, in-fall or up-raised, lost & found in the three dimensional space aside. We will see how we can use the body of the other human to enhance our own moving capabilities and open the possibilities unreachable on our own. We will experience what the touch can give us as a mean of expression, and how we it can enrich the communication while in the dance. But most of all, we will see how to awake intellectual, emotional and perceptional capability to recognize everything, get awareness of everything and be able to do anything by reaching the complete and uttermost presence.
